Easy Cinnamon Baked Apples
Easy cinnamon baked apples are the delicious old-fashioned dessert that everyone loves! Hollowed out apples are stuffed with a delicious blend of brown sugar, spice, raisins, and butter and baked until tender. Serve with plenty of vanilla ice cream or evaporated milk, and whipped cream.

- 4 large Rome apples or other types of baking apples
- 1/4 packed cup (50g) brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup (56g) butter cubed, divided
- 1 cup (240ml) boiling water
- vanilla ice cream, evaporated milk, or whip cream for serving
Preheat oven to 375°F and set the rack to the middle level.
With a fork, combine half of the butter, brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Using a paring knife, core the apples and then use a spoon to scoop out the core and remaining seeds.
Stuff the apples with the sugar mixture then place them into a baking dish. Top each apple with the remaining butter. Pour the water into the dish around the apples. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the apples are very soft when pierced with a knife but not falling apart. Serve with vanilla ice cream, evaporated milk, or even whipped cream. Enjoy!
