We’ll also discuss other uses for olive oil from an orange olive oil cake to a great cocktail called the oliveto.
Finally, we answer a few listener-submitted questions.
We love your questions. Please send them to podcast@sipand11111feast.com (remove the 11111 for our contact). There’s no question not worth asking.

We go through a lot of olive oil with our cooking. The oil we’ve been using lately is an extra virgin arbequina oil in a 3L box (like a boxed wine) from Seka Hills for $66. We just refill a 500 ml. bottle we keep in the kitchen as needed. Have you ever used a boxed olive oil and if so, what are your thoughts? Do you have any favorites? I’m obsessed with watching your podcasts. You’re both very entertaining AND full of useful information. Thanks and please keep on rolling!
Hi Ceejay, we haven’t used boxed oil before. Thanks for your comment and appreciate you enjoying the podcast. We wrapped the podcast last year to focus on writing our cookbook so we’re not sure if/when the podcast will return. Hope you still enjoy listening to the episodes we do have.
