Recipe Ingredients

All ingredients for this recipe are shown in the pic below and special notes are made in this bulleted list to assist you.

Ingredients shown: olive oil, honey, limes, feta, red onion, cucumber, watermelon, and mint.
  • Watermelon. Look for watermelon that’s firm and crisp for the best possible results.
  • Feta. I recommend using a block of feta rather than the crumbles that way you can control the size of your feta.
  • Cucumber. Salad slicer cucumbers, English cucumbers, or Persian cucumbers all work well for watermelon feta salad.
  • Vinaigrette. Combine good quality extra virgin olive oil, honey, and lime juice for this simple vinaigrette.

See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.

Top tip

Watermelon feta salad is best served right away, however, if you have to make it ahead, hold off on adding the feta, mint, and vinaigrette until right before serving. Also, be sure to drain the salad of its water before serving.
